Cove Ceiling Lighting

A recessed perimeter cove hides the strip and lets the ceiling carry the light. The result is an even, shadow-free glow that makes rooms feel taller — the most requested LED detail in living rooms, bedrooms and lobbies.

Even light starts with the cove geometry.

For a seamless wash, keep the strip 4–6 in below the ceiling and aim it upward with an angled aluminum channel; a diffuser lens hides the LED dots when the ceiling is close. Use a high-density strip (at least 120 LEDs/m) so the glow stays continuous where two runs meet.

Plan the run in one direction with power feeds every 16 ft to avoid a dim far end, and size the driver at 80 % load. EcoPowerTech supplies strips, channels, drivers and EasyLED connectors as one kit — no soldering on site.
